Our drinking water purification systems are tailored to your situation and based on an analysis of your water.
It might surprise you how important it is to consume an adequate amount of water each day. While you can also get hydration from other sources, to reach the average recommended amount of 8 cups a day, nothing is quite as helpful for overall health and wellness as good drinking water. Whether you go by this average recommendation or follow a formula based on your weight as shown below, at Progressive Water Solutions LLC, we can help you have peace of mind that you are drinking water that is devoid of unhealthy contaminants.
Our drinking water purification systems are tailored to your situation and are based on an analysis of your water. We offer complimentary water testing in the Cary, North Carolina area and beyond, so you can learn exactly what is in your water. Regardless of the source of your water, a drinking water purification system will provide you with excellent tasting water and peace of mind. Most contaminants that are harmful to your health do not have any taste or odor. Even if you are on municipal water, there are hundreds of possible contaminants that are not tested for by your water treatment provider. If you have a private well, then a UV disinfection system can make sure there aren’t any hidden health dangers in your water from bacteria or microorganisms that could present themselves at various times of the year.
The first step is contacting us to schedule an appointment for water testing. We’ll go over the results and provide you with our recommendation and go over any questions you might have about drinking water purification systems. You’ll be able to make an informed decision about what fits your budget, water quality objectives, and other goals. Call today to schedule an appointment.
To calculate the precise amount of water that you should drink relative to your body weight, follow these steps:
1.) Take your current weight (in pounds) and divide that by 2.2.
2.) Multiply that number based on your age: If you are under 30, multiply by 40. If you are between 30-55, multiply by 35. If you are over age 55, multiply by 30.
3.) Divide that number by 28.3.
The total is how many ounces of water you should drink per day. Divide the result by 8 to calculate as cups. If you are more active, you should increase this amount.
