To calculate the precise amount of water that you should drink relative to your body weight, follow these steps:
1.) Take your current weight (in pounds) and divide that by 2.2.
2.) Multiply that number based on your age: If you are under 30, multiply by 40. If you are between 30-55, multiply by 35. If you are over age 55, multiply by 30.
3.) Divide that number by 28.3.
